I might have just become queen of the internet.

Hi. My name is Brittney and I’m writing to you from 1998.

OR I’m just the LAST person on THE FACE OF THE PLANET to realize the joy that is GoogleReader and justnowlikerighthissecond realized I can view all your lovely little blogs by just adding them there. Oh the time I’ll save and the calories I won’t burn manually entering each of your little webby homes! ;-)

On that SAME note… I realized how to correct MY little happy “RSS” subscription button up there and it works now. Like, for realz. And now I sorta kinda feel like I’ve mastered the interwebs and NOTHING can stop me (except, say, PHP and the Thesis theme, but it’s cool, we’re working out the kinks in our relationship tommorrow over coffee…)

{Sorta on topic… Veronica and I always joke about who is the better stalker of each other…}

Veronica: I subscribed to your shared items in google reader ::breathes heavily::
Veronica: Did it ask you to approve me?

Brittney: I have shared items?
Brittney: LMAOHGDSZFKJD at your “breathes heavily”

Veronica: LOL not yet, but when you do, they’ll show up for me.

Brittney: Good god, its amazing I have a blog isnt it?
Brittney: I’m like who is RSS? What’s a GoogleReader? Where am I?

Veronica: Inter whaaaaaat?

Brittney: I hate you. But with love.

Perfect timing! I just found you through 20SB.

I absolutely love Google Reader and can’t imagine my life without it. How did you keep up with all the blogs you were reading before you discovered Google Reader?

Wait. Goodle Reader?… I’m beyond lame for not knowing or understanding this.

*reads furiously over “goodle reader” instructions *

I’m so old.

By trying to remember which ones I loved and typing them into my browser each morning. YES. I know.

I might as well still be getting my mail via the Pony Express. I’m THAT “with it.” ;)

I totally just cackled at that and dropped popcorn all over my desk. Damn you Veronica, DAMN YOU ::shakes fist::

Britt – Ew me too! I was like “That’s so cute, all those little RSS orange squares people have, good for them” and didn’t really grasp that if you CLICK them and have Googlereader/Feedburner, you can “subscribe” and then actually just view all your favorite blogs/sites in one spot. Verses like really functioning and entering them into your web broswer, one.. at… a … time. We are awesome. I think mostly you, me and Veronica could be the MOST FUNCTIONAL bloggy best buds in the land.

AH HAHAHAHA! Right? FOUR for you Glenn Cocoa! You go, Glen Cocoa! <- that's the voice I heard while reading your comment: "that's so cute…."

We so rock the blogosphere. The Three Muskateers?? ;)

This is great! I love that you say interwebs (I say it too hehe) and your conversation with your friend sounds just like the ones I have with my BFF who has just started her blog. Good times.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

I’ll be the big fat guy. ::calls it::

Amber – Yay! Nothing quite like totally forcing people into blogging, right? ;-) I actually got her onto BlogSoup.net and then she used it for endless recipes and we might just turn that into a foodie blog. Let me know your friends link and I’ll check them out!

I remember discovering Google Reader (less than a year ago). It’s a life saver, however sad that may be.

I just found your blog (through 20sb), and I already love it.

Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by my blog :-) I don’t use google reader, I use bloglines though – possibly it to do with it not being blocked at work, like some of the google functions are lol! I just read during break, promise!

I just recently started using reader…made my ability to stalk SO much easier.

Love that you forced your friend to blog. I do that too but they never keep up with it, so therefore my bloggy friends are way cooler.

Yay I’m little! :)

SO SORRY I HAVEN’T VISITED IN FOREVER. I use iGoogle instead of Reader, which I always assumed was kind of the same thing… and it had stopped updating your feed for some reason!! :(

I’m going to have to switch to Google Reader PRONTO *shakes fist at the internet*

Brittney Reply:

No it was me, I totally had an old feed. LMAO. I’m skilled like that.
